We are back again with day 2 of our ride on the Katy Trail in Missouri. This section of the trail was a little more challenging, mostly because of the lack of services along the way, but still enjoyable after we met up with our Trail Angel, Travis whom we met on Day 1 after Dorothy lost her ID’s, money and hoodie on the trail. He was a Godsend when he contacted us on our cell phone and met us at the hotel to return her belongings after finding them on the trail while he was riding.
We took off from Sedalia, MO on day 2 after staying at the Best Western State Fair and began our trek east to end our day at Boonville.
After riding about 280 miles throughout the week, we eventually ended up in Grafton, IL, ending our journey with a ferry ride across the Mississippi River.

Days 3 – 7 to come in the not to distant future.
