As of the time of this post we are currently 2 days and 36 minutes out from the beginning of our journey. To say that we are excited is an understatement, because after all, it IS our vacation. Our sanity is being questioned, but that’s okay. We definitely will need a vacation from our vacation!
The weather is looking cooler than we thought at first and that’s great too! Hopefully the forecast will stick.
Our journey begins Friday afternoon, September 5th as we leave the house on our bikes, ride to the Metrolink station and then take that train to the Amtrak station in St. Louis. Our train leaves for Sedalia, Missouri at 4:00 pm. We will try to post each evening to keep you all updated. Thanks for reading and here is a short video of our preparation.
