We are Brian and Dorothy and have been married for a glorious 33 years now.  Most of our lives we have always been more adventurous than the average couple. These experiences have included scuba diving, waterskiing, hunting, camping, fishing, hiking, bicycle touring, metal detecting, ATV riding, canoeing, and now RVing.  Each of these hobbies have stories of their own, but that's for another time.  

 

Brian has played the harmonica for over 28 years and is quite the musician, playing many gigs a year with John Jarrett Music in the St. Louis area.

With retirement age approaching, we never thought we would ever be able to actually "retire" and travel or even be able to move out of the state of Illinois.  About one year ago our attitudes changed when a family member opened our eyes to the wonderful world of alternative minimal living.

As we venture forth in this new chapter of our lives, we hope you enjoy us sharing our experiences.  If it even helps ONE person have hope of a brighter future "retirement" on a shoestring budget, we will have accomplished what we set out to do.
